Now that is the best thing I've read all day. I didn't acquire a large collection of Kindle books but I do have quite a few.

It looks like I will have an iPad case well before I have an iPad to go in it. <g>

I pre-ordered both but the iPad is a 3G so that won't ship until late this month but the case is available now and has shipped.

I was thinking about reserving an iPad yesterday, after all the hype/reviews that came out. I almost bought one on Apple's web site, then held back.

One thing I'm wondering about is how it feels to hold it in your hand to read a book. My Sony Reader 505 feels just the right size and a perfect fit. The buttons are in the right places for me. I can hold it in either hand.

Not sure how it would feel to hold the iPad for an hour reading a book?

Regardless, I am excited about comics on the iPad, those look super sharp.

even if apple doesn't approve it I'm sure they'll be someone who cracks it and makes it work.

my major beef with apple is that it's not an open system

It's (the Kindle iPad app) in the app store. See our home page.
