Of course, "Mother's Day" (in the UK) originally had absolutely nothing to do with mothers; the "mother" referred to was the "mother church".

Very old. It's a medieval thing. The idea was that once a year (on however many Sundays it is before Easter - it's a "lent" thing) everyone should return to their "mother" church. Hence the name.

It not "real" sunrise, cause there were too many clouds, but it's the first time the sun rose above them today. And since I watched through the window for more than half an hour wondering if the sun would finally stop playing "hide and seek" I say it was a sunrise!

and ya wiggled!

I remember some pretty awesome pubs in the student quarter as well as the church being quite impressive! as I recall one of the more famous composers did a lot of his work there?

I did, didn't I! I'm especially proud of wiggling the under half and leaving the upper one clear.

Impressive is a very good description. Not like the one in Cologne, but for this small city... impressive.

Don't know of any famous composer, though.
