If anyone likes Vera Bradley prints, I've found that the Mini Hipster bag is a perfect size for my Jetbook Lite. VB uses quilted fabric, so the JBL is protected. The bag has enough room for the USB cable, extra batteries, SD card, etc., and a shoulder strap (nondetachable, but you can just fold it into the interior, or clip it off). I got mine on eBay, and it works great.

Indigo has a padded pouch for the Kobo. A Sony 300 with cover fits snuggly in it as does a Libre. The width is good snug fit but the case is somewhat long (high?) Unlike the pouch that comes with the Libre, there is no protection for the screen. I suppose you could glue a heavy piece of cardboard inside the pouch for screen protection.
The pouch is $13 Canadian. |

Here's what I have been using for 3 JBLs in my family. $5 and cheap shipping. Nice workmanship and a side compartment perfect for notes on index cards. Some websites are reselling this for $15 or more.

Thanks for that link--I didn't get a case but picked up a cheap clip-on light and screen protectors.

Yea. I forgot to mention they had other goodies. They also have a tighter fitting neoprene case that opens at the top for under $3 and a couple of bucks for those silicone covers that are going for $20 elsewhere.
Although the case I first linked to is a little too big, you can pull the reader out easily without having to grip it. I also attached rubber strips to my reader battery bulge with double sided tape that makes the reader easier to hold on to and one over the lower left corner of the reader to soften and add a non-slip surface to where it rests in the palm of my hand. |

Here's a picture of the rubber. The one on the battery cover is in 2 pieces so you can still slide the battery cover off. I had this reader slip out of my hand a couple of times and the rubber really makes it much more comfortable to hold on to.

I wonder if those cheapie smaller neoprene sleeves would fit with the JBL's battery bulge. Though I like the bulge for holding on to the unit, it does create a problem in finding a case.
Thanks for the tip about adding the strips of rubber. |
