Ah, thanks. Makes sense, unfortunately. I guess I'll just continue waiting. The e-book reader market should get more interesting this year and the next. As someone told me, I bought these books and can't read them because of format/DRM, so I shouldn't feel bad downloading pirated copies of them that I can read.

J&R has had the Opus for $199 this week. It may be part of the trend with Sony discounting its pocket reader by $30 until April 3rd.

I decided to buy the Opus anyway. Amazon had it for $194, but between the time I added it to my cart and the time I checked out (a day later) price went up to $220. So I ordered at BooksOnBoard. Well, hopefully, once I'm cleared. I'm ordering to a US address and having it brought here by relatives, and my international address is making BOB double check things.
