Yesterday and this morning on the train I saw a Kindle in addition to my Sony. I'm used to seeing one ebook reader every couple of weeks, but that seems to be increasing.

I often see people with iphones, but I can't tell if they're reading or playing games or web browsing.

I am usually listening to my audiobooks- our library has a very good selection. If not on car CD player, then using my mp3 player and a transmitter.

Last summer, for the first time, I started seeing a number of people using reading devices on the train (in Dallas, which is not exactly tech central although it's not in the boonies, either). I saw mostly Kindles and iPhones along with an occasional Blackberry and, of course, my own eBookWise.

The last time I flew, I got a kick out of seeing that everyone in First Class had their iPhones out. Suspect they weren't all reading, though (I went on to the back so I didn't get to see how they used them during the flight).

Even two years ago, I'd never see anyone reading eBooks. Now, public transportation, at least, seems full of them in my experience.

Since I recieved my reader as a Christmas present i have seen several in the Dr's office and even in Burger king one day when My wife and I where out on a day trip. Surprised me to see them out there. Cool though hope to see more just so they are not driving and reading I am fine. Saw this once in DC on the beltway not a reader but a book in hand at 80+MPH
