I'm sorry, I don't know - I use the GUI converter. Perhaps you could post a question in the "Calibre" forum and ask Kovid?

The Ugly:
For me, it doesn't read the metadata from the Epub. Is this by design or is it a bug?

What metaData ?
It seams to find e-book title all right at least, as well as author and publisher.

Actually you're right. It used to work, but don't anymore.

Seems to be a bug then. Oh well, at least, now I actually got ePub
