go to preferences->plugins->device interface plugins and enable the android driver

for those with problems recognizing your SD card. you minght want to try a new card.
I was tearing my hair out until I relaized the problem was I had a bad card that came new with my phone. I have heard on some forums of others having the same problem.

if you have a spare mircoSD card it's an easy thing to test.

The Plugin is already enabled.

Save to disk will work, Send to device will not.

Save to disk just takes a little more time.

Upgraded to 6.47 and now android is the first item in the "looking for" list but it doesn't find it same as before
I disabled the device plugins I know I won't be using and ran the debug detection again.

Can't access Droid
I am having the same problem. My SD Card on the Droid is visible and browse-able. I can browse and search the card from my PC. Yet Calibre will not send a file to the Droid whether I select main memory, Card A, or Card B. There is no symbol at the top indicating that it recognizes that a device is connected. This thread so far has not helped.

On the surface Calibre looks like a great system and just what I want - but of course if it can't communicate with the Droid it is useless. Hope there is a solution lurking out there somewhere.

As long as the Droid is visible as a drive, then you can always use the "Save to Disk" option to get ebook files onto it.

Calibre Doesn't Detect My Droid X
Hopefully someone can help me out. Calibre does not recognize my Droid X. The SD Card does appears in Windows Explorer when I connect the X to my computer. Here is the output from the Debug Device Detection. Thanks

In the interim use the Connect to folder feature to transfer books to your sd card.
