I have not seen Princeton's prc file. Could you give a link?

I can only speculate that it does not contain all the databases (includes only dictionary definition plus maybe synonyms) or does not have cross-references. Or is based on WordNet 2. One article covers multiple headwords (instead of having article per headword). Or just gives text without any formatting (tags eat space too).

I have seen another WordNet 2 (not 3) prc that is available here on mobileread for free. All I can say, my version is much better.
Well, Amazon refunded my money and that cleared it from my Kindle's delivery queue, which now flows unabated. However, their web site will not let me order it a second time - gets stuck in a loop asking me where I want to send it to. I'm a software quality engineer by trade, and looking for work, perhaps I'll apply for a position at Amazon...

Fortunately, I have a copy on my computer, having sent it there after the wireless proved incapable of delivering it. So I'll use that, and try ordering it again at some point in the future just to keep my karma clean...

As for 'Princeton's prc file', I don't know if one exists. I couldn't find one on wordnet.princeton.edu. I'm going to assume they were actually referring to the free mobipocket version.

Keep the WordNet 3 file that you have. You don't have to buy a new one. This is a gift for your trouble.

I am also currently out of work. Hope you'll find something soon.
