it's nice that you can keep your husband entertained. goodness knows, when they get bored they are just so much trouble!

I've learned that my adopted kitten will step on anything, anyone, anywhere, and anytime to get where she wants to go, and that includes walking on my 600. When she drinks her water she puts her paws in the water and then goes walking around, the one time I cought her standing with wet paws on my reader and it was over!!! Now I put it up so she can't go tramping on it when she wants to climb on my stuff! I have a problem with the cats chewing on things too...if I find my reader chewed up I think I'll have a new pair of kitten fur gloves!!!

But won't it be your fault for not putting the reader up? Who can resist sinking their teeth into a really good read?

Haha, that was cute. Yeah, usually I put it up but there are time when I set it down to go into the kitchen to check something or go get the laundry.

My cats all four of them are great with my eReaders. My husband is the one who has dropped one. He dropped the 505 on the hardwood floor less than 2 weeks after I gave it to him. Luckily it still works sort-of. It's the on switch that was damaged. Now he got in trouble, they watched.

Common problem with dropped Sony's, easily fixed.

You just need a very small phillips screwdriver, such as from an eyeglass repair kit.

I fixed mine, no problem.

While there are many mischievous cats in this thread (and let's face it they're too cute to get annoyed with!) the real ereader "killers" are definitely husbands / partners. I bet you felt like throttling him at the time dropping it on a hard floor!

The other annoying thing is that hubby always told me he didn't like playing games but ever since I got an ipod touch he's been sneaking it away to play bejeweled on it! Whenever I come to use it I find the battery drained

Last night I resorted to childish measures and hid his glasses so he couldn't see to play on the ipod ... he he! He was hunting for a good hour before the glasses "mysteriously" appeared under the bed!
