Yeah, I just emailed them. It appears that Harper Collins has abandoned their $14.99 list price on books that are $7.99 as pbooks idea (thankfully) and someone forgot to tell BoB.

My latest two are 'Best Served Cold' by Joe Abercrombie which I've almost finished, and ' The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' by Stieg Larsson which I haven't started yet.

Must say I'm a bit disappointed by ' Best Served Cold'. A good book, but I don't find it as good as his 'First Law' trilogy. It just misses 'the cripple'

I've got both Stieg Larsson books, and can't wait to did into them. I've heard incredible things about them, which is the reason I purchased them. I may have to postpone "Shantaram," for just a little bit.

I bought some books over the weekend:

Janet Evanovich - Four to Score
John Grogan - Marley & Me
Diana Gabaldon - Drums of Autumn
Rita Mae Brown - Pay Dirt
Joanne Fluke - Women Sleuths Bundle
Sue Grafton - Q Is For Quarry
Steve Berry - The Templar Legacy
Anne McCaffrey - Changelings

Some are the next installment to series that I am reading, some just because I thought I'd like them, and a couple of freebies just to try out.

My most recent purchase is "An Echo In The Bone" by Diana Gabaldon - took me 3 days to read. Unfortunately I'm now sad that I have to wait years for the next one in the series! LOL

Might re-read the Southern Vampire Chronicles now as True Blood's on the telly here in the UK.

Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett, another great discworld book, but sadly it had the american cover.
