Harry, While I did look at the Opus, I felt that it did not meet my need in a Few of ways.

* Format Support - I wanted support for more formats Natively, as I often times end up with files in various different formats, and as such the less conversion I need to do the better. This is especially important as I have a large library of Mobi Book which I converted for the Gen 3, which I want to be able to read on the new device.

I've also been buying more books in eReader format, and Astak has been pretty active in trying to get native support for it on their devices. While I can and Currently DeDRM and convert them to read on my devices, Native support for it would be icing on the cake.

* Folder Support - I Wanted a device with proper Folder support, as I Hated the flat navigation in the Gen3, as I had to limit the number of book / Files I could put on it, to be able to navigate at a reasonable pace. While It does claim to have Folder support, I'd not seen very detailed descriptions of it while that of the Hanlin devices was pretty well know,

* Support - Bookeen been pretty slow to respond to issues or quries. If the Query could not be answered by a form email, it took ages to get an answer if that. Astak / Bebook have been quiet responsive to customer queries / complaints and have been quick to push out upgrades.

* Price - The Opus at that time was £215 before delivery and without cover. I paid about £180 all together for the Astak Pocket Pro, including the VAT charge. The Difference of nearly £40-50 was a definite issue for me.

So for my particular needs, based on my Personal experience with Bookeen, I did not really consider the Opus an option When I went to get a new Reader.

While It may be a terrific reader for many people, It was not for me.
