PRS-600 Which Color did you choose for your PRS-600? - Page 3

I bought a red one because that is the only color available when I bought it yesterday.

I don't think the color is that important. That's why I can live with any color.

Black because it was all that was in stock but since it was a surprise gift (big surprise) I'm delighted.

I originally bought the red based on the pics. But I found it was more plum colored than the vivid red that the pics suggest. So I took it back to Best Buy and swapped it for a black one.

I wanted a black one, but didnt get a choice as my awsome (sweet, thoughtful, generous, handsome) man bought a silver one for me. I didn't return it only b/c he bought it for me, and to be honest I plan on wrapping it in a skin as soon as they're available. I bought a blue one for my 505 and loooved it, I don't understand why they (Sony) doesn't have a bigger selection of colors....not that I'm suggesting the whole rainbow

. But the fingerprint thing can get kinda annoying. How did she like the red one?

i got black but i heard that the silver/white one actually makes the screen *appear* to have more contrast.
I dont know if thats true; i do think the black one is cool. Mostly tho i got black cuz i want to be able to read on the subway and I figure a black one might draw the least attention. (I got a black cover for it too).

I actually chose the silver over the black because it looked better to me although it is enclosed in a black cover...but if they had the same colour red as the 300 over here in the uk I would have got that

I opted for black as it looks smart but I would have prefered a more feminine pastel colour. Personally do not like the silver - I'm not keen on any metallic finishes, not even if it was made of pure platinum!

Have to say I don't notice the colour when reading and you can always personalise with a coloured cover.

I'm from Spain and got it from USA, I order it silver but got it black..... it's OK... but I like ths server most!!!

I ordered from the USA (I'm from Spain) a silver one after pondering a bit on a black one.

I wanted red, but Sony UK store only had black or silver, so went with black. Like others have said, black shows fingerprints nicely & also makes it harder to find where I've put it down.
