Tech whores. No device gets everything down "right". Some people do get all of their needs met by one but I think most folks get finicky after new stuff comes out or something does this or that better.

I use the iLiad for pdf (mostrly newspapers), comic books and whenever I think I need dictionary lookup (mobipocket english novels more "cahallenging" than simple thrillers and SF).
I use the Sony 505 for the rest (italian novels and "easy" english books).

If the iLiad had the same operational speed of the Sony, I wouldn't need another reader (liseuse?)

And I just bought a second 505 as a backup since it is the best of the Sony Reader line (at least for my needs - Reading )and they dropped the price at Target to discontinue it ($239).

I use one reader for fiction and one for non-fiction. The fiction one ha a better screen and the non fiction one has highlighting and note taking capabilities, which I only need for non-fiction books.

I also have an old junky reader that I take on trips where I'm not going to be in control of my luggage. It wouldn't break my heart if it was stolen.

Clearly we have issues - but seriously a large format and small format make sense to me - one for reading pdf's and such and the other for pocket reading

I didn't meant to get the opus at first. Then bookeen sowed up to make a demo, and i though : Woo, cool. here's how to make my bag even lighter
And I like the shelve concept.

And , then, if someone finally out a reader that fits me, i might get a larger one for home reading.
