Hmm.. I wonder if Iʻm a little relieved Iʻm not the only one with that problem.
I have had mine for a year now, and I have seen this problem probably 5-6 times. Itʻs annoying. I also have seen it, once in a great while, randomly go back a chunk of pages when I hit the next page button. Anyone else see that occur? I might be on page 184 and hit the next page button, and Iʻm suddenly reading page 179 again. |

Apologies, I was being lazy - I meant a requirement to re-organise memory so as to make a larger amount of contiguous space available by removing redundant contents and compacting the rest - equivalent to a defrag on disk.

That's something I never considered--although in my mother's case, she usually does lose the collection that's on her memory card. (The ones on the internal memory stay put. Go figure.)
We've come to the conclusion that yes, the reboot is a pain in the rear, but we can live with it as long as it doesn't do something drastic like die completely. *knocks on wood to prevent this from happening* |
