That is what they said in their press release, but no one got near the device with a ruler. Also an Engadget photo shows the screen to be less wide than a PRS-600 (the device, not its screen) which is 6 7/8 inches wide.

Yes, I agree. Or, perhaps they just don't think people are so interested in the exact specs of the screen size of a product that you can't even order yet.

I have not been paying any attention to the new arrivals. But now - my 505 is slowly dying and I have to make a decision as to what to replace it with. I have a Kindle 2, but I want a new Sony. When is the 2121 going to arrive? Will it be an upgrade to the Sony 600? Should I wait or order a 600?

Similar to the PRS-600, with a larger screen, 16 grey levels, and AT&T-based wireless download. Due out in December.

The 600 has reflow and zoom. With a touch screen I don't see why this one would not have zoom as well.
