Why is it that as a kid I was never afraid of clowns but as an adult they appear to be very disturbed people? Who walks around with that makeup? Is that supposed to be endearing? Not likely, I call for all clowns to be arrested immediately and put in Gitmo for extensive questioning.

I think clowns register their makeup and no other clowns can use it.

I vaguely recall hearing that the faces were painted on eggshells and registered at Clown Central where they were kept in a subterranean vault.

I like clowns, but then again I hung out with a lot of rodeo clowns, and they are an entirely different creature than the run of the mill freaky children's clowns

Clowns are disturbing now because they are always the killers in movies. And they really aren't bad-- it's those darn mimes that are freaky! I mean, they can talk...but, they don't!

I took the wrong psychological pathway. I have to help kids blow noses while I ask them "how do you feel about that?" I get spit on too sometimes (accidentally... kids really like me, they don't spit on my on purpose). I think that should all be worth an exhorbitant fee! Sometimes I scream a little-or a lot- in my head.
