Me too! I have a wife now, and he is making my dreams come true! Tim retired last week, and he has been cleaning and cooking up a storm. Tonite, it is polish sausage sandwiches. He bought a couple of lovely steaks for tomorrow nite! And he calls me once every hour to ask, "What'cha doing?"

My wife left work several months ago so she could be a stay at home Mum. It means that when I get home from work my dinner is practically on the table... It's nice

Fried dill pickles for me, please!

I've always loved pickles but never heard of fried pickles until a couple of years ago. Tried one and fell in gastronomic lust. For a while, there was only one local place to get them. Now I know four or five bars and restaurants that make them. Yum!

Wait... What? Pancakes are for breakfast! Why would a pancake house be closed for breakfast?

Surely Sweetpea meant that they had just closed and would still be closed until the next morning. Surely. Shirley?

I like my street crepes with nutella and a sliced banana. Call me if you want to take a gastronomic tour, and we can go together! (I wish!!)

You people are evil, evil I say!

I was sitting here, perfectly happy, browsing around MR without a care (or carving) in the world.

Now I am craving all sorts of things, many of which I have never had and don't have the ingredients to make. I am salivating and my tummy is rumbling...

Off to the kitchen for, Ummm, grilled cheese sandwiches.

but you're evil.

Edit: Arrrg, brownies??!!! Oh, Gads! That's just plain mean... (Hmmm to I have the fixin's?)

Don't fight it, they are warm and gooey and only want to make you feel good....

NormHart: Now you've flung a craving on me! I love grilled cheese sandwiches sooooo much, they make me bounce up and down in my chair and giggle!

Oh, wow. You've reminded me of the grilled bacon and cheese sandwiches my mother used to make. A couple of those and I was in heaven. Man, I could do with one of those right now! Instead, I'll be headed home soon for a Boca burger.

There was a segment this morning on our local news about chocolate covered bacon onna stick at the Iowa State Fair. For some reason, that sounds good right now...

I've been to Boca, and brother, it tastes nothing like the burger! Sort of salty and sandy, but leaves an old people taste in your mouth. And the town tastes funny also.

Oh, great! Now just tell me how I unread that! Actually, I like them fine as long as they are grilled well and crispy. But they are nothing like a burger, I'll grant you that.
