I've got 120 on my Sony right now and about 30 on my Kindle 2. I use the Sony daily and it has mostly public domain and a few Sony freebies. The Kindle primarily contains Amazon freebies and a few public domain books. Lately I've been reading 2-3 books at the same time. I'm a delete-as-you-go reader so the numbers will shrink in the next month or so.

I usually keep between 80 to 100 books on my Cybook. I bought an SD card but haven't gotten around to using it yet. Probably just as well. When I delete books I just pop across to FW and top up again, so the number of books remains relatively the same. I know if I used the SD card I would just keep buying, buying, and buying more books.

Well, what's a book?
I'm new to my Kindle, so I've only got 53 books on it right now, but one of them is an Audible.com audiobook; does that count? It of course uses a lot more disk space than a regular book.
I would have a lot less, but I found some books that I read as a teen (the Young Trailers series, by Joseph Altsheler, and books by Francis Parkman, who not only wrote The Oregon Trail but a number of great histories of early Canada) and since they were free, I can't resist having them on my Kindle. As soon as I finish reading a book, I tend to take it off my Kindle. |
