for now we will get only one. to be honest I like both the black and silver. as long as the color isn't distracting I am quite happy with either.
besides, silver will match my macbook pro and ipod classic! is there such a thing as too much silver?

Librie and a short-lived Sony's electronic dictionary product used BBeB dictionary format which had nothing in common with BBeB book aka LRF and was oriented heavily towards Japanese dictionaries. They also sold additional dictionaries on MemorySticks. At one point Sony released "BBeB Dictionary Studio" for making user dictionaries. I doubt Sony will use the format for the English dictionaries, most likely it's something new.

in the images, square A is the same colour as square B (the second image demonstrates that). but you can see, with a lighter colour bordering it, the grey looks darker, and with a darker colour bordering it, the grey looks lighter. so logically, a dark case for a liseuse will make the screen look lighter, and vice-versa. of course, you can also argue that the same will be true for the letters, therefore a lighter screen will make the ink look darker... (i know, i'm not helping your case anymore am i ? )

personally, i think that since there is usually more "blank" screen showing than dark letters, it's better to improve the perceived lightness of the screen, which in turn should make the letters seem relatively darker. but now i'm extrapolating.

well before this it was mainly what color we liked. now it's taken on a whole different meaning...
the idea of tossing a coin doesn't seem so bad now....

yep, and no more pictures please!!

now apart from our color preference I have to decide whether to get a black 600 which will have brighter screen but will be hotter to handle here in Guam or to get a silver one that will have a darker screen but will stay cooler when reading at the beach...hmm...
