I have his Pendragon set also in Audio and mobipocket. But I'm not sure what contract him or his publishers have with Amazon. I've sent a question to him regard such, and hope to hear from him soon.

It says here that Mobipocket Creator Publisher Edition will convert to and from AZW1/TPZ formats. Not sure if it's true, but I'm gonna try it and see. All I need now is to find an AZW1 file and try it. That, or at least try to convert a PDF to AZW1 and then back again.

I imported a pdf, and was able to convert it to Mobi, but to no other file. No option as to what format to export to. So this is out. Depending on how the Pocket Pro reads both the PDF version vs the Mobi version of this book, I might convert all my pdfs to mobi.

If this program CAN convert AZW1 files, I'd like to know how.

I don't think Mobipocket Created Publisher Edition can handle Topaz at all.

Yeah, there's no option for importing that file type. Not sure what that bloke on the amazon forum was talking bout. If it would have supported tpz/azw1 files, someone here would have known about it.

IMHO the folk on the Amazon Discussion Boards do not seem quite as technically adept as folks here.

I should have taken that into consideration. Also, I should have finished reading the thread. Someone came in at the bottom of the thread and said there was no way to convert the files.

Oh well, I always say "never take anything for granted" so i thought i'd see for myself. I'm glad I did. I'll check the pdfs vs mobi on the ez reader and see which looks better.

I can already tell you it'll be the .mobi. I've taken to converting my .lit files to .mobi because the formatting is so much better. PDF's on the six inch EZ Reader are just painful, unless you have eagle eyes, which I do not.

p.s. When Griffonwing started this thread I headed over to Google where it found the SRL web site, but Google reported that the web site had malware on it. I sent an email to an address I found for SRL, and he reported that they were hacked and he added:

I went to Audible to check when I first bought a book there. And then decided to see if they had part 2 and 3 of the Hood trilogy (already have part 1).

They do have Tuck...
