No, I would not recommend that! Some really great tidal pools there too.

Lots of motels/hotels so you can spend some time sniffing around. Multitude of restaurants, several bars/lounges (although none like this one).

A nice place for a day or a week I'd think.

My dad took me on a canoe/portage trip into the Canadian Shield when I was a teenager. I protested the trip right uop until we got to this crystal clear lake that we had to portage into. It was so quite. I honestly thought I had lost my hearing. We continued north from there and traveled through some of the most majestic rivers cut into solid stone. Extremely strange as the Canadian shield isn't a mountain or the like. Amazing place to go, and unforgettable!!!! Info!!!
