I find the furniture easy to assemble and of very high quality (extremely high quality considering the price.) As for going through the store, there are shortcuts all over the stores that I have been to that allow you to reduce the time to get to any single department.

All of the furniture in my office is from IKEA as is a lot of the stuff in the library, basement, and rec room.
