FW did the same thing. They had both eReader and Mobi up until they lowered the price, then they dropped the Mobi.

FWIW Mobipocket themselves don't offer it on their site for any price. Perhaps there is still a problem between Hatchette and Mobi as any Hatchette book I searched the Mobi site for no longer pulls up. I don't know how/if this also affects Mobi's retailers.

Oh well... Bought it in ereader format. Only had to google half a minute to learn how to convert to mobi. Two more minutes to actually convert it.

Sure some people will roll their eyes and say that what I did is in a grey area, in terms of legality... But I wanted to buy the book in mobi, I had no option. Anyway, I bought it, it's mine and how I read it, that's my business. I'm not sharing it or anything, I'm feeling ok with my decision.

Since you paid for it and you stripped to convert for your own use (heh that sounds bad), I don't think anyone here will give you a hard time.
