Forget about Apple. Take a look at Amazon's move over the weekend to cave to the Writer's Guild in regards to the K2's Text to Speech. If that isn't an indication that heavy DRM in eBooks will be with us for some time to come I don't know what is. Content makers, be it movies, music, or books can't manage to get their heads in the 21st Century just yet.

Makes me glad that the Kindle isn't available in Canada. I would have bought it before I found out about the 505. By all accounts, the 505 seems to be preferable for novels and pleasure reading, which is my niche. The Kindle seems to hold the edge for the magazines, blogs and Whispernet...(whatever that is...)

I'm with you on the 505 for pleasure reading.
