Great, nigeldb I look forward to seeing you again! (Hope sallydb will bring her Cybook along, too.)

Well depending on dates, I will be there, and can bring along a BeBook, A Cybook, an Iliad version two and depending on availability an Irex 1000s. I am a truly hopeless addict of technology and openly admit it in the hope that one day I can enter a recovery stage .

sianon, great!
I'll plan to bring an iLiad book edition, so we'll have a really good selection to look at on the day. |

Another starter here, that is, if a time and place can be settled before it's over.
I shall probably drive from Canberra, so anyone wanting a lift let me know. Cheers John |

nigeldb, not a dumb question. epiphany, julie and I are flexible for venue/date etc, so I was waiting to see if anyone had preferences.
Onemack, you'll have a long drive, but I'm sure it'll be worthwhile and I hope you can join us. So far, its mid-late June, weekend afternoon, CBD, maybe Koko Black (top end of Collins St). If anyone has a preference/suggestion for venue, date and Saturday/Sunday, please post here. Quick count of possible attendees: roytravis julie (Not a MR member, but an iLiad user) cbell epiphany Laine (NSW, maybe) sianon AlexBell (Tas, maybe) RCR Vivaldirules (USA, maybe) nigeldb Onemack (ACT) Wow, lots of us! |

I am interested too, if I am available on the chosen date.
I live in Lara, so not too far away. I have rheumatoid arthritis though, so anywhere with a seat and I am happy. I just cannot stand for very long. I have heard that Koko Black make a great hot chocolate. I have not had one from there, but someone did give me some of their chocolate flakes for making hot chocolates and it was very nice. I do love a coffee, but I have heard about the great hot chocolates, so it might be a hot chocolate day. Jodi |

Proposed date and Time
How about Sat June 14th, at Koko Black at 52 Collins St when it opens at 11h00. Fair amount of parking in town.
If Sat is no good, suggest Sunday at Koko Black, but in Doncaster Shopping centre as the one in town is shut on Sunday. Should we start a new thread with some sort of voting so we can see preferences |

I think Sat is June 13th. 11am Koko Black CBD suits me.
But - I'd prefer afternoon and I'd prefer Doncaster. I'll settle for the above if its the majority's preference. Sunday is also OK for me. Thanks for checking opening times, nigeldb. I tried the Koko website and went around in circles. The hot chocolate I had at Koko Black CBD came with real melted chocolate around the cup's rim that you lick off while you drink - heavenly. nigeldb, epiphany... yes, you could start a poll thread, please... or any other Australian can start the poll... Last edited by cbell; 03-26-2009 at 04:04 AM. Reason: poll plea |

Thanks, nigeldb
New list of possible attendees at 04/04/09: roytravis julie cbell epiphany Laine (NSW, maybe) sianon (only if CBD) AlexBell (Tas, maybe) RCR (only if CBD) Vivaldirules (USA, maybe) nigeldb Onemack (ACT) millydog (only if CBD) montsnmags (Qld, unlikely) moz (only if CBD) libwolf A couple of the above have indicated their partners may join us - so we may have between 9 and 15 people. Wow! Last edited by cbell; 04-04-2009 at 05:49 AM. Reason: Added libwolf here to save making yet another list. |

Nice! There are more Ozzy ebookers than I had anticipated.
Considering how many "only if CBD" people there are on the list, I think we should rule Doncaster out. |
