We're thinking about buying a 1TB external HD for our pictures.

Our multimedia machine has 2x500, I think, our server 3x300. And my own HD's are not enough...

thats just them creating a new filesystem (not really, but close) that supports 2tb. I dont expect this for atleast 5 years, I would not be surprised if it takes 10 years to make a 1 tb sd card.

In my new Machine, I currently have 3 x 1TB SATA drives in it. I have a 4th in an external enclosure as well. All that space is wonderful.
