I've been reading those, they are hilarious!

I have just one title for you boys:

ROMANCING MR BRIDGERTON.

I think a guy would be able to enjoy it, potentially.

How about Daphne du Maurier's 'Rebecca'? I thought that was a great book, does it qualify as romance?

I think we're aiming to get them to read bodice rippers

That reminds me, my mom has my library book of that and I need to read it.

One Nitpick on something I saw when I looked at the banner

On the front page they are saying

1But the books are only available in Secure eReader, which is a DRM'd Format

WHile it doesn't affect me personally, as I'm not really interested in reading them therm statement has to be considered misleading, if not false advertisement.

I think they are available in other formats. I think Jane was looking into this.

Not on the Fictionwise site, as far as I can see.

I actually added one to my cart and purchased it to see which formats were available, and Secure eReader is the only option available.

Edit -

Your Right that Harlequin's own site has them DRM free in PDF, ePUB, eReader and MS Reader.

The Only Problem is that My sister who loves them, has my PRS 500 and it will not read any of these except PDF, and that too not so well, so I'm going to have to convert them for her

She Could, But as she doesn't have a Net connect at home right now, and she can't install the sony software at work, its not really an option right now.

Its not a big deal. I've converted half of them already and should be finished with the rest in a little while.

Shouldn't be to bad. About 30 seconds a book in Calibre (using the Lit version) and you should have good copies for her.

Thanks anyway. while it was not an option in my case, it might have been for someone else, so well worth tossing it out.

What I found funny was that I've not yet seen Mobipocket version of it, (BoB) is not free, so its another pain for people for whom Mobi is their standard of choice.

I've read a few of the J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts) In Death books and I liked them. The mysteries were good and the romance wasn't too sappy. Plus the characters are likable.

While a bit of a pain the Lit's will convert to Mobi in about 30 seconds. Last I saw the promo lasts all year so maybe they'll fix the Mobi files and put them back up.
