Hey, that's okay. I'm a millennial and do the same. Although being conservative with tech these days can make you a boomer regardless when you were born.

Perhaps you could release a test build that will display a debug message after your first page turn that displays all the information you're interested in collecting? This would make it easier for people to test older devices and report back without having to search the log for the information you need to expand support.

Good idea.

I did another more comprehensive check and it looks like the mod's older device support may be understated (I only tested on my older Libra 2). It's highly likely that these devices are already supported with the version I released on GitHub:

• Libra 2
• Clara 2E
• Clara HD
• Forma
• Nia
• Libra H2O
• Aura Edition 2 v2
• Aura H20 Edition 2 v2

Anything older is not supported. Also, the Sage and Elipsa use a different driver model entirely and aren't supported either, but I'm looking into it.

If I turn Dark mode on, the animated page turning goes really slow, it takes around 6 seconds to turn a page.
It also has a high chance of freezing the screen during the page turning, but not the device. So I just do a screen refresh and it's fine, but there's also a random chance of it rebooting.
Turning Dark Mode off makes it work fine again.

The latest Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (12th Generation), 2024 release, page turn animation can't be enabled if dark mode is turned on.

So, the fact that there is an issue when dark mode is turned on a Kobo device, is not surprising.
