What are you saying here -- are there different DRM methods being applied depending on what type of Kindle you load the book into? And that after copying the KFX file off the Kindle to the computer, the-plugin-which-shall not-be-named is incapable of dealing with some of these methods?

Yes, exactly. Most Kindles now have an unbroken DRM applied to them.

@Phssthpok, it could be that the firmware on your Kindle is too old to have the new DRM applied. I cannot say.

Eventually when I do jailbreak my PW3, I'll try the software to allow eBooks to have the DRM removed.
