If you have a reliable source (printed copy, pdf, scans...) it takes a while, but it's not unbearable, to go through all the pages marking the "good" paragraph breaks in your text. After that it's a matter or removing all '</p><p>' pairs that are not marked.
To be honest, for normal works, I prefer to remove all HTML tags, works in plain text and then add the HTML back. |
