You mean it fills the gap for iOS users. Calibre Companion had the Android version as well. Your app doesn't.

Fair point. I should have been more specific. BookShelves covers the Apple side of that gap (iPhone, iPad, Mac), not Android. The Calibre Companion loss hit both platforms, and I can only speak to the one I build for.

If anyone knows of a good Android equivalent that reads a Calibre library folder directly, I'd genuinely be curious to hear about it. Comes up in my own forum from time to time.
