Do you happen to know what it would be for oasis 10th?

Hello, I have two Kindles, PW11 and K11. Unfortunately both were bought ad-free. However, there's a method to make them ad again, according to kindlemodding.com I should register my device using one of listed there countries with valid credentials and valid payment method. Unfortunately I don't have paying method nor shipping address for any of that countries. Does it mean that I'm out of jailbreak? What's interesting, both my devices show special offers in Amazon.com account but activating them just throws unknown error.

After clicking "Ok," nothing else showed up. It's probably because my version number isn't in adbreak.html, but when I looked at the file, it showed my model "fs_update_kindle_10th_5.18.1" but had a different number, for some reason "441759".
Have you tried manually updating the firmware to the 5.18.1 available on Amazon's website?

That version number is associated with the firmware downgrader script. I assume you used it when already jailbroken or something? You should be able to follow the instructions there and install a lower version supported by WinterBreak.

I think that's a consequence of the jailbreak.
Report this in the AdBreak thread in mobileread, showing the following code to the author.
This is the check for SO:

Does anybody know what the offset would be for a 5.18.5.0.1 PW12 on Version: 455680?

I'm having trouble getting this to run, unfortunately - I get the pop-ups but the script fails after the "Bang!" with the error "The selected application could not be started.".

This is with a Kindle Paperwhite 12th gen. I tried it on 5.18.4.0.1 firmware first, then did a factory reset and updated to 5.18.5, but that had the same issue. The version number seems to be detected correctly and listed in the offsets table, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.

During the WinterBreak jailbreak, before installing the hotfix, my Kindle updated to version 5.18.1 and I was waiting for AdBreak. The strange version number is now correct. I downloaded the same update from Amazon, 5.18.1, and after updating, the version number changed to the correct one. I've jailbroken it now and it works.
Thanks!

Sharing this in case it helps someone else.

I can confirm that adbreak works on the Scribe (1st gen, FW 5.18.1).
I've successfully enabled "Special Offers" in my Amazon account, though I’m not sure it actually had any effect (only a new setting in the account section to enable ads on the lockscreen) — the “View all ads” section shows nothing.
There were no regular ads, only a generic Kindle Store Ad banner on the lock screen and a sponsored banner on the homepage. I managed to trigger the exploit through that sponsored banner instead, by clicking the “Learn more” link. The photo was taken after the jailbreak, and the banner seems to have disappeared since.

I should mention that I had never seen those lock screen or sponsored banners before. However, I can’t confirm whether they were due to Special Offers or just the default behavior, since I only connected my Kindle on the day I received it. I also tried performing a factory reset before the jailbreak, but it didn't change anything.

Anyway, thanks for the great work!

Hey, so good to hear that! As a fellow Scribe user, can I ask how did you do it? I'm currently on 5.18.5.0.1, and turning on Special Offers still seems to do nothing

I'm on Kindle Scribe (1st Generation) 5.18.5. After enabling SPECIAL OFFERS, I can't find "a new setting in the account section to enable ads on the lockscreen". Could you please show more details how to enable ad in KS?
