What would help is if you could get certified USBC cables like you can HDMI 2.1 cables.

I'm not specifically familiar with this work, but I know Switched-On Bach by Wendy Carlos as well as performers Bond and Apocalyptica. My take is.... all of the above. Why must Bach Meets the Beatles be classified as Baroque or Pop or Rock when it's Baroque and Pop and Rock. AllMusic file Bach Meets the Beatles under Easy Listening whereas the Amazon listing for the album says Chamber Music.

Do whatever makes sense to you. Nobody else will.

Which describes every iPhone manufactured in the past 10 years, modulo the heat requirement to break the waterproofing seals on waterproofed models, and maybe not iPhone 17 Air. I haven't seen the teardown.

Also note: the EU regulation does not say replaceable or changeable. It says removable for disposal.

Edit: Apple apparently stopped using adhesives for waterproofing several models back. Currently (heh) the only "special" tool required is something to apply a low voltage current (9-30V) to debond the adhesive used to stick the battery pack to the case -- a bond which provides structural strength to the device. Since this current can be provided by something as simple as a 9V battery pack with leads and alligator clips, I rate this as in compliance with the EU regulation as written: no proprietary tools, no thermal energy or chemicals needed to remove the battery packs.

iPhone 19 will very similarly resemble any iPhone you buy today since the changes are already in.

I am somewhat dumbfounded by the lack of testing some companies do before releasing a software update. One neighbour of mine has an ADS-B unit (using for aircraft tracking and supplying information about tracked aircraft). The software runs on a Raspberry Pi 4B supplied as part of the device (he is not an electronics hobbyist so went for a pre-assembled unit which does 1090MHz and 978MHz). A recent update broke the 978MHz capability of the unit. The update was pulled a couple of hours after release so not many units were affected. Unfortunately, the only solution is to revert to the original firmware loosing all customization so re-setup and updating is required. For some reason, the new software was not tested other than using the 1090MHz band.

Also apparently the ADS-B doesn't work now with Russian aircraft, but this is Russian policy rather than a sw bug.

Because there are at least four different ways to autorun programs on Windows:

* They can be started as system services.
* They can be started from the Startup folder buried in Explorer.
* They can be started from registry keys in the Run "folders" for each user.
* They can be started from Task Manager.

And of course Microsoft can't be consistent about it across their own applications.

Also MS think you want to run only MS applications, and as soon as you boot, so they stuff stuff into autorun of some kind without asking.

That's to make it harder to turn it off!
