So, at the risk of sound all jingoistic, this has been one of the top days of my life. Bush is gone. A new President is in. He sounds like someone who is dedicated to getting things done. He may turn out to be lousy. I'm not starry eyed. But for the sake of my country and the world, I am hoping that he turns out to be what I hope he is, rather than what others fear he may be.
