Calibre won't start after update to 7.17

My system is:

Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon using Mint experimental Wayland.

With Linux Mint 22, you can choose experimental Wayland at login. I have tested it and it works.

Checked Nvidia no card updates..

No worries ill stick at the last calibre version that works for me it does all i want it to do..

ok with the latest version of Calibre 8.01 I can now read books again the problem i had has been fixed thanks!!
