I disagree. It makes a very noticeable difference. Also, if you do use a large enough font, you can adjust the patch to make the spacing even smaller.

It makes a noticeable difference because you use a small font size. I also use a smallish size and find the patch useful, but I agree it's probably not so useful with large font sizes.

As I said, just adust the patch so it makes the spacing even smaller and it will work for larger font sizes.

Even if it's not perfect, it's going to be better then without the patch as the spacing will be smaller even with no editing of the patch and a large font size.
