No, there isn't any way to do that out of the box. But you can get a partial solution by keeping one fake book that has all authors in the custom column. THen completion for that custom column will include all author names, because they exist in that one book.

Hi! Is there a way in Calibre to search for books that have a defined number (or more than that number) of authors (e.g. authors_count:4 OR >4)?
