Boox Tab Mini C review

I wasn't aware of the Tab Mini C before seeing this thread. It's expensive, but I must say that I'm interested. If we compare it with, say, the Nova Air 2, the Tab Mini C has more RAM, a much larger battery, and twice the internal storage. I don't know how the CPUs compare. All this, and Kaleido 3, for about $100 more than the Nova Air 2. That's not bad...

Since Android 11, when touching Select mock location app, it jumps to Advanced.

So? It's not a video device. And if you watch videos, it would probably be some learning videos. Where you don't need 25+ fps anyway.

Well, that's the problem.
In my Poke3 it's in /system/etc/prop.default:

As said, you can mod this with a Magisk module (if you're using Magisk).
The other alternative is the "nuclear option" of system-modding root.
That could also complicate updates.
But you're A11, which makes this even more problematical with the super partition.

I'm A10 and already system-modding root so enabling mock would be trivial.

I reported it to Boox as an A11 bug via feedback - they used to react really quickly to such reports

With Poke 5 you are in A11.
With the A10 it wasn't necessary at all, it worked anyway.

The Poke5 won't get here until Thursday.

The Poke 5 is currently my preferred reader for travel because of the magnet cover and the SD card.
As such, the cover is very useful for protection, while being easily removed for reading, which I like.
He will probably be replaced by Palma for this purpose and for on the go.

It is fixed in update to version 3.4
