I tend not to update the firmware on my readers if I'm happy with how they are. I'm assuming this happened in a firmware update?

Yes, 4.32 if I remember correctly.

I'm still at 4.30. It does what I want (apart from not bolding Lexia dama) so I won't risk an update.

4.32 did not have any issues on my Kobos. I tend to skip updates when they don't add anything useful to me, because Kobo updates are sometimes buggy. But 4.32 was fine. (Currently I'm on 4.34, still no issues. I skipped 4.33).

Edit: you can downgrade if you don't like an update.

The probably the Libra 2 isn't the right device to recommend in the first place. Especially as that was clearly stated in the beginning.

Tysm for the photo! Obviously, this is not a Clara 2E, but given the margin size on a Kindle, I'd probably get substantially more screen real estate from the Clara than the Basic. I don't know if it matches the PW 5, but the improvement seems substantial enough that the other pulls to the Clara 2E have made my decision for me. The Clara going for cheaper on sale also helps.
