If you can't find your exact variant in the table, PM me the first 6 characters of your S/N, along with as much information about your device as you can (marketing name, date & country of purchase/delivery, whether it's WiFi-only or has cellular capabilities, and the bezel color if appropriate). Then wait for me to confirm that stuff has been repackaged to handle it, because none of this will work until I do .

KUAL issue after firmware update.
Hi
several months ago I successfully installed jalebreak and kual to my kindle PW3.
After the firmware 5.15.1 was suddenly applied, kual stopped working.
I tried to reinstall Kual several times, removed it, removed and installed mrpi, but everything I got now is just an error like
> Package 'Update_KUALBooklet_ff4134d_install.bin' (KUALBooklet ff4134d I) is not targeting your FW version [!(1679530004 < < 18446744073709551615)] skipping . . .
regardless the package of kual I tried.

Help me please to fix the issue.

Hotfixes haven't been rebuilt for that FW version (for obvious: it wouldn't change anything anyway reasons).

As a rule of thumb, if the Snapshots thread's timestamp predates the FW's release, it obviously ain't gonna work.

Since /etc/uks is now mounted as squashfs, how do you install the development key necessary to verify the community update scripts?

It seems the update process adds insult by deleting the /PRE_GM_DEBUGGING_FEATURES_ENABLED... flag as well .
