You must have ordered the Signature model. I ordered (thanks copyrite) the regular model late last night and it is coming about February 15th. My new cover is to arrive in two days, Wednesday.

If the photo of the PW5 with the screen protector is anything to go by, don't use the screen protector as it looks to make the text a washed out grey shade.

I got really good PW3 covers about €12 inc shipping & VAT on Amazon, back when PW4 was just released.

The price of covers has got crazy.

Amazon’s got a MoKo sleepcover for the Paperwhite for $12.99. I like MoKos; they’re very similar to Fintie.

It’s against my religion to spend a lot of money on covers; prices are ridiculous. I generally won’t go over $10, but for a quite recent device and given how everything’s more expensive, I’d probably get the MoKo.

The trusty Navy cover is $19 for MoKo and $16 for Fintie. Just saying...

Thanks for the cover suggestions. I did break down and purchase the Signature model after posting the link. Still debating the cover as I'd prefer slimmest possible, but am considering a stand. Not a rush since the PW doesn't look like it will be here before the middle of March.

3 years of daily reading is a good bit of wear and tear on a cover. Sometimes multiple times per day or opening and closing etc. If I spend $11-14 on a cover, and it lasts 3 years, I wouldn't be upset. However, the Fintie I bought in 2019 is still in perfect shape.

Moko is the company that made the covers I was dissatisfied with. I won't buy another of theirs.

My Finte wore out as well. It did not last long enough. There is no way I would ever buy another Finte or recommend no matter what the price.

Got email telling me they are jacking up the price of my FREE monthly trail for Prime to $15. So, I cancelled it. Now wondering what is going to happen to my PW5 order... anyone have a clue?
