He obviously meant physically. I went into my library and I couldn't go through the stacks. I had to tell one of the librarians that I wanted Gorky Park and then wait for them to find it and come back to the front desk. It is good to be safe, but what amused me about it is that libraries get no where near the traffic of the grocery stores that we depend on.

Kobo agrees, which is why they're getting rid of the Aura 2 and not the Clara to make room for the Nia. The Nia is a step up from the Aura 2, though it's questionable how much of a step up it is.

Man, Goodereader posted a video trying to compare the Nia with the basic Kindle and really, their reviews are just awful.
They don't compare the same books, font sizes, margins and soforth are not equalized in any way or even talked about They say that the Nia and the basic have the same screen resolution and hardware. They go on and on about PDF and web browser. The whole think is slipshod. Last edited by ZodWallop; 07-19-2020 at 11:58 AM. |

Nia - full strength Basic - one bar Next, I notice that the Nia has better contrast, blacker black, and clearer then the Basic. The eBook that BadEReader is using to sho off the Nia has stupid L/R margins because they are huge and the margin slider is all the way to the left. Is the the way the eBook is or did they edit it? The images on the Basic are too dark and mushy looking. Plus, the text in some of the images is more difficult to read then the Nia. I have no idea what they did to get the browser on the Na to freeze. The lighting on both can go too bright. Overall, the review was just plain awful. |

double the RAM on the Kindle is a noticeable advantage/plus.

Maybe they don't need to go in depth, but for goodness sake, don't show a book that only fills the middle third of the screen. Quote:
