Libra Perpetual sync = battery drain

Finally!! It took me doing the nuclear option of logging out and relogging in, but it wasn't that big of a deal since I had just factory reset the day before and lost all my annotatons etc anyway...

After that I did have to reload that one problematic book carefully. It seems that once I matched it to the book in my library but used your plugin to update the cache as opposed to what I did before, my problem was solved! No idea WHY the manual updating of the cache would hang my sync forever, but I'm just glad finally to have an ereader that can sync again! Thanks, David, for the help! I have a lot to learn with Calibre and I hope I don't do anything to fuck things up again....

weirdly though -- the book continues not to show a green check mark under devices and says it's not on my device under library. But it shows up in my ereader with the revised title/subtitle (though is not in my collections so i have to do that manually on the ereader), so I guess that's good enough even though that little lack of consistency will drive me OCD up the wall.

argh spoke too soon. The sync is hanging again. I might just have to give this one up and just use the original title and see if that helps since i dont have this issue with any of the other Kobo books!

I just loaded 1500 books into a device, 150 at a time.
After each load, I let it scan the books and then forced a sync.

Each sync took progressively longer, 1150 took about 8 minutes, and 1300 took 30 minutes and didn't finish.

And then my device reset itself and logged me out. On login, it rescanned the books faster than any single scan of 150 did and all the sideloaded books were still there, and the next sync was nearly instant.

So go figure. No idea how the database got corrupted but I suppose 10 plugin / eject cycles make that more likely.
