If they come out with an 8" (or close to it) Kindle screen size I'll upgrade from my Voyage.

Amazon changes to an ePub with DRM. Now has 100% of ebook market and has bought the Big 5.
Apple changes to ARM for Mac. MS and Adobe are ONLY via cloud rental. Google/Alphabet forced to divest Android. Banning of petrochemical cars pushed out another ten years. I want to see other colors such as white and a uniform size without the bump. You can make a big ereader, give it a big battery and still keep it thin. Like the KOBO Libra, Forma pulled it off and they have better battery life. I would like a larger screen if they can keep the price down.

I want USB C. The only items I have now that ever need charging away from home are my laptop, my cellphone, and my Kindle. Laptop and cellphone use USB C. Not my Kindle. So I have to carry a USB micro just for the Kindle. I like fewer cables and faster charging.
I'm older than most trees. I want higher contrast. I don't understand the fad for colored lights. Sort of like football. I know it exists but I don't know why. |

As for colored light, I find it WAY WAY easier on the eyes at night and it's my favorite new feature, by far. |

Things would have to change a lot for a color ereader at Amazon. It failed with Nook. Who needs color when most of what they read are novels and other text based offerings? Use a tablet instead.

I bought an Anker 3-in-One cable, back when I got my iPad Pro that uses USB-C. I has a micro USB, and changeable heads for both Lightening and USB-C.
After I left my iPad charger and cable (that came with the iPad) in the rented beach house last summer, I was very glad I had bought that Anker cable. When we travel, we take one extra Lightening cable, the 3-in-One cable, and an Anker multi-port charger. We keep lightening cables in both cars too. |

Aren't they talking about the colored lights here? As in "adjustable warm light"?
