This election is important to the whole of the world. We had federal elections in Canada last month. Although I voted, I had no interest in them. These are full of passion and of historical significance. I"m proud of being a Quebecois and I would not want to be a US citizen, but what happens to your neighbour is important, whoever he is. And we are cousins afterall.

Yes, he did. He did indeed. And, I'm glad I voted for him. It has been very hard for me the last eight years watching what Bush and his cronies have been doing to the country.

Now, if McCain had been smarter in picking his running mate, maybe it would have been more of a horse race, but Palin was a major liability for him. Best if she just slinks back into obscurity.

I do hope this means that we can now get out of Iraq. And, maybe, put a national effort into alternative fuels.
