Goodreads does what Amazon needs. I find the site very awkward. Don't hold your breath for either the UI or policies to change.

FWIW, I have 4700+ documents in my library. I did hit a limit on the number of entries in a collection once (1000, IIRC), but it seems this has been removed, too.

The collection size limit applied only to Kindles IIRC. You could see everything in the Kindle apps. I no longer have collections anywhere near that size (and never will) but good to know the limit is at least higher than 1000 now.
