edit: regarding serial access, I've been unable to locate a 1.8V source, plus everything's glued over anyways. Seems like I'll have to go with an external power source.

Is the topmost screencover removable? The voyage has a glued glass layer, afaik; pw4 is supposed to have plastic, but is it one unit with the screen?

Has anyone replaced a screen on one of these yet or seen a full teardown including screen?

There's a broken one for sale near me...tempted if I can find a replacement screen and some instructions...

In case anyone is curious - here is the LTE version.

They really didn't hold back with the 'goop' - even the sim card is covered in glue!

Trying to get serial access to unbrick this one and couldn't get anything to stick - think I'll have to do a better job of scraping off the goop first.

Interesting that it's all on one board now - the PW2 3G had a separate daughter board for the 3G bits.
