It's the 32GB model WIFI only with special offers (G000 T607)

The firmware is 5.10.0.1 (3337430015)

It's been ordered for a friend and not registered yet

I'll be happy to do some tests to help finding/testing a jailbreak

Maybe a noob question, but how did you gain a shell access ? Opening the device then serial port ?

Either that or ssh or install kterm and launch it from KUAL.

@dhdurgee, are we talking of a factory device (not jailbreaked)? I used NiLuJe's KindleTool to get the root password, but no ssh port (nor other) is opened.

(Kindle noob speaking... still need to read and learn some stuffs about it)
