Yes, it is handy for example in airplane during 6 hours flight when you have a lot of time and when you are too lazy to press page down button each time when you want to read next page

I spend about 20 seconds to read one page with font size 20 on my jetBook so this feature works fine for me.

Well, as we know, Book Designer can output a number of different formats. But not all of theme make good versions. LRF is good. Mobipocket is not. I'm interested if the FB2 output is any good. I'll be posting a copy of Dracula in a few that I made using Book Designer. Would you mind checking it out even though you already have it please?

I'm interested in how well BD made the FB2 edition. Because if it's good enough, it'll be trivial then to make FB2 eBooks from the BD source.

Yes, that's exactly what it does. As I said in my review I just couldn't get used to this. It doesn't take me the same amount of time to read each page... so for me it turned too fast or too late... of course you can still press next page when it is auto turning... but I didn't like it.

I suspect it is one of those features that some small percentage of people love... As long as they don't try and force you to use it, its pretty harmless. Personally I am with you Bob... I can turn the pages myself thank you.

When I read with "uBook" on the Pocket PC I used its "autoscroll" feature a lot. That, though, was rather different, in that it was a smooth "pixel" scroll and you could stop it and re-start it at the touch of a button if you found the text getting ahead of you. I imagine that a page-based auto-scroll wouldn't work nearly so well, because you'd be stuck if the page turned before you'd finished reading it.

Yep. Well, your not stuck, you could always page back. But, that would be very disruptive.

I used this feature many times and I almost never pressed page back button.
If you spend approx 20-25 seconds to read one page you can always set the delay for 30 seconds. I agree that sometimes it is not very handy if you don't read nonstop but it is a good feature if you have a plenty of time for reading (for example in airplane).

It looks fine... Though, I just upgraded the firmware (to try to resolve an issue that not all of the special characters were encoded) and I am not sure everything is quite right... it looks like it is now ignoring stylesheets. Its using blank lines to indicate paragraphs as opposed to indentation. Its doing it on other books I had previously converted that displayed normally before. I did try Dracula on Stanza though and it looked great.

In any case, I will email Ectaco about my firmware issues tomorrow. Fortunately, at the moment I am reading mostly books converted into PDFs.

I would have been very surprised if it didn't since it is likely one of the major supported formats. You might expect a Russian program to support a Russian format!

This is true. But since Mobipocket and eReader are not wonderful, didn't know about FB2.
