You are correct and a few 4G were made but not sanctioned by the SD committee. The largest file before SDHC that was sanctioned by the committee is 2G with 1024 block sizes. The Wiki makes it seem like these cards above 2 GB were sanctioned devices but they never were and it is only a fluke that they even work with the standard drivers and whether they work on your device is very hit or miss.

The standard for 4 Gig and above is only SDHC cards which are formatted FAT32. Cybook is a bit non-standard in that it prefers FAT32 on regular SD cards but again this is not according the SD committee standard which specifies FAT (FAT16) on 2 GB cards.

Jetbook screen

Hi Kris,
When a pdf page shows up on the Jetbook screen, does it show everything on the same sceeen, or do you have to scroll down to see the rest?
I have lots of pdf ebooks, and I want to read them when I get my Jetbook. I read somewhere that Jetbook does not show the whole page when you read an ebook due to its 5" screen size compared to Sony's.

Thanks.

Yes and no. They jetbook can display the full PDF page, but it will probably be too small to see it. Currenlty if you do zoom in you have to pan and scan. Perhaps there new firmware that was due out yesterday will add re-flow. I don't see why not since a newer version of the FoxIt reader that they license does support reflow.

Jetbook screen

I hope with the new software update of Jetbook yesterday, somebody can check if the new update has update on opening up pdf files and see if there is a reflow. That would be a nice feature to have, as I hate panning and scanning.
Thanks.

Updated software available on jetBook website since 4/7/2009:
http://www.jetbook.net/upgrade.php

It has support for ePub, Mobi, PRC and RTF fotmats but no changes for FB2 and PDF formats yet.
